Movies That Mattered on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 pm
Come spend Tuesday night at the movies on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 pm when Movies That Mattered presents a film about a boy with green hair. In the film, Peter, a young boy, discovers that his parents were killed in World War II. The next morning, his hair turns green out of shock. Although ridiculed by his classmates, Peter realizes that he can use his difference to speak up for other kids orphaned by war and speak out against fighting any more wars.

Join the Temple Book Group on Wednesday, March 20 at 2:30 pm in the Library and on Zoom as they discuss "More Than I Love My Life" by Israeli author David Grossman.
Upon her 90th birthday, family matriarch Vera reunites with her daughter, Nina, after five years of separation. Both Vera and Nina have committed the almost unpardonable act of abandoning young daughters - Vera when Nina was 6, and Nina when her own daughter was even younger. The circumstances surrounding Vera’s and Nina’s departures are complex, slowly revealed and come to dominate all three women’s emotional lives.

Join us for our Rabbi Louis J. Sigel Scholar-in-Residence Weekend on Friday March 29 through Sunday March 31. The theme of the weekend will be "Martini Judaism: For Those Who Want to Be Shaken and Stirred" with guest scholar Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin.
