Teens also participate in our Religious Action Center (RAC) Trip to learn about the legislative process, advocate for Reform Jewish policy positions, and meet with senators and representatives to delivery an advocacy speech.</span>

A special concert in Celebration of Leonard Bernstein, sponsored by the Robert and Gilda Glazer Fund (late members of the Temple) featured “Halil,” a nocturne for flute. Joining flautist Carol Shansky, a Temple member, were Diana Huges on piano, and Kimberly Burja, Darren Gage, and Jay O'Brien on percussion.</span>

This  year, Temple member Marty Breznick and his law partner John Cavallo, who are both immigration attorneys, spoke on “A Journey Like No Other." Refugee Shabbat was an opportunity for Temple Emeth to reaffirm and redouble our support for refugees, asylum seekers, and the forcibly displaced.</span>

Beginning in 2023, Temple Emeth has joined with Temple Sinai in Tenafly to collaborate on Religious School education for our students in grades K through 7. We are excited that this collaboration will provide a robust education in a vibrant setting guided by the values of Reform Judaism.</span>

Movies That Mattered on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30 pm in the Social Hall

Join Movies That Mattered for a night out at the movies on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30 pm.

The film is a comedy based on a 1972 Neil Simon play about two legendary (and cranky) comics brought together for a reunion and revival of their famous act. The cast includes George Burns and Walter Matthau,

Yom HaShoa Program on Sunday, May 5 at 7:30 pm at Bergenfield High School

The Holocaust Commemoration Committee of the Jewish Community Council of Greater Teaneck is planning a Yom HaShoa program on Sunday, May 5 at 7:30 pm at Bergenfield High School.

Fun and Games on Wednesday, May 8 at 1:30 pm in the Social Hall

Fun and Games returns on Wednesday, May 8 at 1:30 pm in the Social Hall. Come play Canasta, Bridge, Mahjong, Scrabble or other games with your family and friends. Temple members (and for non-members who play with them) are free. (Cost is $5 per non-member at a table without a member.)

Emeth Kesher Mother's Day Service on Sunday, May 12 at 9:30 am - Please RSVP by Monday, May 6

Join us for our Mother's Day service to honor our mothers and the special women in our lives, as we celebrate their importance to keeping families connected. We are asking people to participate in leading this worship experience with song, poetry, and Hebrew and English readings. This will be preceded by a light bagel breakfast.

Please RSVP by May 6. We want a proper head count for some special surprises.
