Uganda Community Partnership

We read in the Talmud, Kol Yisrael aravin zeh b’zeh—The whole Jewish people are responsible for one another. It is a principle that transcends ideology and borders. We are enriched as a people when we connect with Jews around the world.

Through Achvah: The Partnership for Abayudaya Rights, which advocates for the Jewish community of Uganda, Temple Emeth has established a partnership with Beit Shalom Kampala, the Reform congregation in Uganda. This is a wonderful opportunity for Temple Emeth to connect with members of this small, isolated community, which is eager to connect with Jews in other parts of the world.

Keep checking back to this page to learn more about our partnership congregation in Uganda.
