Temple Emeth is a diverse congregation that welcomes all who wish to lead a Jewish life—individuals and families of any age, race, sexual orientation or gender identity, or connection with Judaism. We invite your participation in all aspects of congregational life—our music, spirituality, traditions, holidays, and culture.

At Temple Emeth, the values and practices of Reform Judaism are embraced every day. We value inclusivity, community, and an interest in lifelong learning. We understand that each person is on a Jewish journey, and we seek to help nourish every soul that walks through our doors.

We are sensitive to the needs and concerns of Jews-by-Choice, interfaith couples or families, and those who are just re-examining their connection with their faith. Programs provided through Viewpoints highlight and explore the diversity within the Jewish community. We also present a range of adult education programs, social action programs, and programs focusing on arts, culture, and heritage.

Our membership is drawn from towns throughout Bergen County. Newcomers quickly realize what even relatively newly joined congregants already know—that it is easy and meaningful to become an active and vital part of our community. We look forward to welcoming you personally.
