Shir Chadash Teen Choir

Music is an important part of Jewish life and of services here at Temple Emeth. Shir Chadash
is a choir for teens in grades 8-12. Shir Chadash sings challenging, mostly acapella Jewish choral music and performs 4-5 times a year (usually at Friday night services). Rehearsals and performances are scheduled based on the busy schedules of our teens!

Those who wish to join must audition, showing excellent proficiency in either sight-reading or tonal memory, improvisational harmonization and pitch consistency.
