Music & Arts

Music and art reflect the creative soul of the Jewish people. At Temple Emeth, we celebrate that creative spirit in many ways. In addition to the hypnotic voice of our Cantor, we enjoy the uplifting voices of our junior, teen, and adult choirs, who sing at special services and on special occasions. Temple members often find themselves clapping or dancing in the aisles during our special Music Services, when our Temple Emeth Band accompanies the Cantor. 

In addition to artwork gracing the halls of our synagogue, we are blessed to be one of the few congregations to have our own museum. Our Artist-in-Residence Weekend, Movies That Mattered series, special concerts, and other programs are among the other ways we celebrate the arts at Temple Emeth.

And, special thanks to the chair of our Museum Committee, Barbara Balkin, who has documented our temple life with her photographs, many of which are on this website.
