Strategic Planning
Temple Emeth Looks To Our Future
Strategic Planning is an organization’s process of defining its strategy or direction and making decisions on how to allocate its resources to attain those strategic goals. For two years, the Strategic Planning Steering Committee worked to gather information and input in order to set a future course for the congregation that will lead to continued health and vibrancy. The Steering Committee identified seven key areas for decision-making and subcommittees were established to address these critical issues:
- Religious School
- Adult Education / Lifelong Learning
- Membership / Marketing
- Finance
- Building
- Ritual
- Clergy / Staff / Lay Leadership
To date, our Board of Trustees has adopted resolutions on the first four areas. The Implementation Committee now has the task of facilitating the plan’s realization.
The COVID pandemic has certainly taught us that we must be agile and open to change as we chart our course ahead. This is an exciting time for us, and we look forward to that future together. We will update you in the coming months as progress is made.
