Torah Study

Shabbat Morning Torah Study is held on Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Temple Youth Lounge and on Zoom. Study concludes in time for our Shabbat morning service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. Check your weekly Temple Emeth email for log-in details. 

On Shabbat morning, October 18 at 9:00 am, our Torah Study class will discuss Leviticus Chapter 10. After attaining the status of priests through an eight-day ceremony and a spectacular conclusion, Aaron’s son’s Nadab and Abihu are killed suddenly after bringing alien fire into the Sanctuary. No prior knowledge of the Tanakh or Hebrew is necessary to appreciate the modern lessons the Tanakh offers.
