Welcome from Our President
Welcome from Our President
Welcome to Temple Emeth!
We pride ourselves on being a diverse group of members learning, praying, and working together to make the world a better place. Recognizing that each individual is on a unique Jewish journey, we seek to nourish every soul who walks through our doors.
Temple Emeth welcomes people of all backgrounds who come seeking fellowship and community, including Jews by birth, Jews by choice, interfaith partners or spouses, and those in the LGBTQ community. We celebrate the rich diversity of our community by presenting a variety of programs, social events, and volunteer roles.
Our clergy brings a love of prayer, humor, and song to our bimah, offering innovative, diverse, and creative worship and learning experiences.
To improve the education of our students, our Religious School will be collaborating with Temple Sinai of Bergen County’s Religious School starting in September 2023. Classroom instruction will be held at Temple Sinai, and supplemental educational programming will be held at Temple Emeth. The K-7 curriculum instills a love of being Jewish and of learning about our prayers, history, and traditions. We also offer a dynamic program for our teens in grades 8 to 12, including confirmation in grade 10, giving our teen members opportunities to learn and socialize together.
We are committed to tikkun olam, the restoration of our world. Learn more about our extensive Social Action program here.
Come visit and see for yourself why we love Temple Emeth. Feel free to attend a Shabbat service, an Adult Ed class, or a social event - we would love to have you! The calendar on our homepage lists all of our upcoming activities.
Please email me, or call the office at 201-833-1322 to leave a message for me, and I'll be sure that someone greets you and introduces you to our congregation. -- Michael Goldberg
