Shabbat Services
Friday Evenings
Our Friday night services are our most popular times to gather as a community in prayer. Join us every Friday night for a meaningful service, followed by an Oneg Shabbat with coffee, dessert, and conversation in our Social Hall. Services are also shown on Temple Emeth's livestream page, on our Facebook page, and on our YouTube channel.
Most Friday night services begin at 8:00 p.m. The exception is our special Family Shabbat services, which start at 7:30 so that our younger members can enjoy their evening at Temple. Our Family Shabbat services, specially planned for youngsters in grades 2 to 7, include a song by our junior choir, Etz Chayim, and a story read by Rabbi Sirbu. Services are followed by a child-friendly dessert Oneg Shabbat. All are welcome!
Family services include lots of singing and a story read by the Rabbi.
Saturday Mornings
On Saturdays, join us for Torah study at 9:00 a.m. We offer a hybrid format, in person and on Zoom. Those attending in person in the Youth Lounge also enjoy bagels and coffee. After a short break, our Shabbat morning service begins in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m.
Attending the Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah of one of our religious school students? Mazel tov! B’nai Mitzvah services begin at 10:30 a.m. and generally conclude by noon.
