Future Forward Fund

On Rosh Hashanah, Temple Emeth President Mike Goldberg spoke about the launch of our Future Forward Fund—Honoring Our Past by Embracing Our Future.

This new ongoing Fund reflects specific priorities that the Board and the membership have identified as Temple Emeth’s most immediate and critical needs. And, it allows you to support what speaks to you the most. The aim is to prepare so nothing becomes an emergency, as well as to address long-standing issues in our building.

Each one of us has our own Temple Emeth story. Now, we collectively have an opportunity to write our next chapter—together. Your participation in the Future Forward Fund ensures that Temple Emeth remains vibrant, welcoming, and strong—now and for generations to come.

The flexibility of the Future Forward Fund gives you a way to designate your support towards an initiative that’s most meaningful to you and your family.

The four initiatives the Board and membership have identified for 2025/2026 are:

🏠 Raise the Roof (RTR)
Our roof replacement project is progressing in carefully planned phases, addressing the most urgent areas first. Our goal this year is to help fund the current phase. Our goal this year is to raise an additional $61,750 to help pay for the current stage of the roof project.

🛠️ Enhanced Security & Building Renewal

Temple Emeth’s strength depends on the safety and functionality of our building. We must address long overdue repairs, including: repaving our driveway; replacing our outdoor storage shed; installing fencing and a security gate with remote access; and supporting ongoing security guard coverage, as well as better securing the rear of our building that leads to the Sanctuary.

🎓 Learning & Culture

This initiative will sustain and enhance education, music, guest speakers, and cultural programming—along with the technology that supports them. Improvements, such as a better sound system and movie screen, will also boost our return on investment for building rentals.

❤️ Future Forward General Support

The General Fund supports Temple Emeth’s long-term financial health, empowering your Board the flexibility to address our most urgent needs.
